Cinderella Bridez is partnering with VOW for Girls to raise awareness about ending the international child marriage crisis. For those of you who do not know, VOW for Girls is a global movement that aims to work with other brands, individuals, and the wedding industry to put an end to child marriage. VOW for Girls is constantly growing in order to spread their message of putting an end to this issue. Did you know that every year, 12 million girls become brides even as young as 8 years old? VOW for Girls works to end this matter because no child should ever become a bride.

VOW for Girls, like Cinderella Bridez, holds the belief that all marriages should be done out of love. Every bride should be looking forward to their wedding day as they marry the person they are in love with. Because some girls are forced into their marriage, their wedding is not something they chose out of love. VOW for Girls uses 100% of their donations and funds to invest in underfunded local efforts that advance girls’ rights. These donations will work to provide education, jobs, and teach life skills in order to create brighter futures. The girls should be in charge of their future not forced into a marriage.

Vow for Girls is a vow for the future. Human rights activist, Mabel van Oranje, had the epiphany to start an organization to end the international child marriage crisis when she was attending a wedding in which the couple asked to receive donations instead of gifts. Darren Walker, Ford Foundation President, was fond of the idea and collaborated with Mabel van Oranje to found VOW for Girls.

Impact

VOW for Girls has made an impact on individuals worldwide. To date, over 260,000 girls have been directly impacted and over 1.6 million people have been indirectly impacted in 6 countries. Those numbers are only going to continue to grow with your help. Over 20 brands, 8,000 couples, and thousands of girls' rights supporters have contributed to these results by promoting VOW for Girls and donating to the cause..
