My 8 Step Guide to Everyday Makeup
Let’s be real, doing full glam everyday can be a hassle. We’re always in a rush to go somewhere or get something done, and we do not have 30 minutes to give to do our makeup. That’s why I have come up with an everyday makeup routine that is quick and easy and wastes no time! Everyday makeup should be light and just the essentials. Adding too much can lead to blemishes and breakouts if you are someone that wears makeup on a daily basis. It is important that you create an everyday makeup routine that works best for YOU. Everyones skin is different and requires different products and steps. Once you have mastered your everyday makeup look it will become easier and faster to do giving you more time to get your day started. Keep reading to find out what my everyday makeup routine is, why it works for me, and what products I use! Step 1: Color Corrector- Live Tinted Huestick (Rise)
There are many different color correctors to choose from. I choose to use an orange corrector because it works best to cover up those dark circles and shadows on the face. It is the perfect way to look like you got a full night of sleep when in reality, you only got 5 hours before its time for another day! Color corrector is also a perfect base for under your concealer.
Step 2: Concealer- Too Faced Born this Way (Warm Beige)
My second step in my everyday makeup routine is to conceal those blemishes and dark circles! I put concealer directly over the color corrector that I just used as another way to mask those dark circles and blemishes and to brighten the face!
Step 3: Foundation- Armani Luminous Silk (7.75)
For the foundation step, I barely use any! Just a few dots on the high points of my face to cover the rest of my face that I did not put concealer on. I blend this out with my finger to finish off the foundation step in my routine.
Step 4: Bronzer- Tarte Waterproof Bronzer
Nothing like a good bronzer to define your face! I quickly add bronzer to my cheek bones, jaw line, nose, and top of my forehead to add definition. It gives me a fuller glam without having to go through all of the effort to do so!
Step 5: Eyebrow Pencil- Anastasia Dip Brow (Dark Brown)
Even if you don’t do anything else, filling in your brows makes you look so put together without all of the other products. It is a good way to bring attention to your face by snatching those brows!
Step 6: Eye shadow primer/eye shadow- NARS Clear Eye Primer/Tarte In Bloom Palette
This step is not for everyone; especially, if you are in a rush. When you are quickly trying to add more glam, adding a shimmer or even just a matte color to your lid will elevate your look.
Step 7: Mascara & Eye Pencil- Lacome Paris Monsieur Big Volume Mascara/Artistry Dark Brown Eye Pencil
This is probably the easiest step of all. Mascara is one of those products that makes you look glammed even if that is the only makeup you put on for the day. I also add an eye pencil to my waterline to make my eyes pop a little more. It is a lot easier than trying to master eyeliner especially when in a rush!
Step 8: Lip Pencil/Gloss-MAC Lip Liner (Oak)/ Buxom White Russian Plumping Lip Gloss
Giving yourself a cute lip is the best way to finish off your look (other than setting spray of course). It really brings your whole makeup look together and allows you to define your lips and give yourself a pouty look.
